Island Park, Idaho with Family

We had such a great time with our family in Island Park. It is such a beautiful place, such a gorgeous lake, and there is so much to do! We loved it!
My lovely parents, siblings, and niece and nephew

a beautiful Springs that is very clear and cold
fishing for craw dads! They don't look appetizing, but if you like lobster, you'll enjoy these!
Nana had the kids doing some fun art projects.
Jared was always right-on-top of the creation of our nightly fire.
Sea-dooing was too much fun! Water was cold, but did not scare Shaun from skiing and Jared from Knee-boarding.
The lake was just beautiful!
There are so many fun and beautiful cabins surrounding the lake.
Here is my A-girl hanging out and playing in the sand.
Yellowstone was beautiful and chilly! What are the chances we chose the same day to go to Yellowstone as President Barrack Obama? Needless to say, it was a bit crowded.

Fun family times!
My three little bears
and my little monkey!

July Update

A little family trip to Solitude was great way to escape the heat in the Valley. The kids loved swimming everyday, and we were able to do a little fishing, 4 wheeling, and relaxing.

I-Man and A-Girl had swim lessons for a month and they both really improved and are becoming great little swimmers.

Happy Birthday Mr. D! We love you and appreciate all you do for us!

Happy 4th of July! We had Mr. D's family over for a day of fun, bbq, fireworks, water games and volleyball. It was sure fun to be with family, especially those that live out of state and we don't get to see as often as we'd like.

Summer Lovin'

Part of my Summer Lovin' is hanging out in our hammock with my kiddos. They love to play and tackle each other on it. I, however, love to cuddle, relax and read on it.
I do enjoy my hammock, however, I would not mind hanging out in this particular one.
Doesn't that look so inviting? I'll have some lemonade to go with that please.
Or this hammock! How dreamy! I'd like an entire day in this one with an entertaining book.
I'll have a pina colada please!

Nana's Camp

These 3 cuties had a fun day at Nana's Camp! My mom started a fun tradition this summer for the 3 oldest grandchildren. She has a hand-full of days planned where she will do a craft, read books, and do other activities on a certain topic and then take the kids to do the "big activity." For example, she did a lesson on being a Child of God. Then, they made these cute frames and put a picture of themselves in it. And then she took them downtown to the "Child of God" exhibit in the LDS Church Museum. The kids are crazy excited to go to Nana's camp and spend time together. I know she has a camp planned for the zoo and heritage park, but I can't wait to see what they do next! What a great idea mom!
